I build with AI where it can genuinely help people — starting with the two things closest to my heart: education and healthcare.
The headlines about AI are mostly about what it takes back — jobs, whole industries, rising costs. That conversation is real, and after more than twenty years in cybersecurity I’m wired to take risks seriously rather than wave them away.
But there is another story that gets far less attention: what AI can give back. That is the story I would rather build than argue about. So I started building — not as a doctor, not as a teacher, but as a builder — and I hold what I build to the standards I would want for my own family: sourced facts, honest feedback, privacy by design, and access for anyone.
OralCat — AI speaking practice for Singapore students
OralCat is a free AI speaking coach for PSLE, N-Level and O-Level English oral — plus interview, public-speaking and everyday English practice. You speak, and the AI coaches you against the real exam format: pronunciation, fluency, structure, articulation and confidence.
How it is built
OralCat is built and continuously improved by a team of AI agents — planning, building, testing and auditing the product daily. It is the same discipline I bring to security work, applied to building something useful.
What I will not compromise on
- Privacy by design — recordings are private, deleted after 90 days, never sold or shared.
- Honest AI — facts are sourced and dated; nothing is invented. Feedback is coaching, not flattery.
- Access — free to start, no signup needed to practise.
- Trust — built to be recommended by teachers and trusted by parents.
